Ever since he was a child,there was only one dream that haunted him. Haunted, because it felt more like a nightmare. Something so far out of reach, that he would never be able to grab it. 

[i]A normal life. No crown. No throne. No responsibilities[/i].

A country in poverty with no way to solve it. At least that is what the people would say. Most people of Iskra (Искра) are against his family and do not trust them. They feel that the royal family could do more to help them, but they never do. 

And things are only getting worse.

This is the country where Vincze would one day rule over as their King, but even when he was but a child, many people were against him. The fact that his parents chose to homeschool him, did not help. Vincze wanted to go to a normal school, make friends and feel [i]normal[/i], but they were against it. During the first few years of his life, he never went to a real school, but he never stopped begging to go. 

It was his mom who eventually agreed. She honestly believed that it might be good for them and be in their best interest if Vincze made friends at school. That way people might start looking at him differently and maybe it would help their country move forward. Of course that did not happen. Vincze was a shy kid and making friends wasn’t easy when most children already knew each other. However, that did not stop him. He got a few close friends and at that time, those friends did not really understand who he was. But their parents certainly did.

Like every Prince Vincze was sent to the army, even though he would never see war. It was only for him to get stronger, become a real man worthy of ruling his people one day. But everyone could see he was not made for that life. Every day was awfull and he could not keep up with everyone else. With every day that went by, he felt worse and worse. A dissapointment. At least he never gave up and kept going, pushing himself to his limits. Which would eventually be the reason he had to return home after only two months.

It happened during one of the training sessions. Nothing special, but after almost two months, his body was reaching its limits. They never gave him the time he needed to rest, because no one else got it. All he had to do was climb a rope, but his muscles were sore and he could not do it. The tried to push him and Vincze kept trying and trying— until flames emerged from his skin, dancing around his arms. His first reaction was panic, just like everyone else. The flames got worse and he could not stop them. In blind panic, it did not occure to him that they did not hurt. Only after they threw a bucket of water over him and saw no wounds, did they understand what it meant. 

[i]Magic[/i]

If people didn't already dislike him, they certainly did now. While there are more people with magic in Iskra, it is not common. Most people are afraid of them, terrified even. They look at it as a sin, something that should not exist. Vincze was immediatly sent home, where they tried to keep his magic abilities a secret, knowing all too well that it was impossible to keep it hidden. At some point, they even discussed other possibliies. Maybe his older sister could take his place as heir, but people would also not accept that. Neither would they accept his younger sister. In the end there was nothing they could do. 

While he had to learn and control his new found powers, he was not allowed to do so were everyone could see him. Maybe that way people would think it were only rumors and forget about it. He went to university and got his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

With his powers ever growing, Vincze needed someone who could help him control it, but no one in Iskra would be able to which is why he eventually left for Sanctum, where he is now going for his Master of Business Administration but above all to learn more about magic.
