Nothing has allowed Lex to ever feel as free as he did when he first left Aetheria behind to travel the world. He backpacked from country to country, staying in local, affordable hotels and resorts and got to know the people. He has met new people and found friends in these distant places despite the language barrier. He'd tell his parents all about the cultural festivities he'd participated in, about the family who told them all about their great grandparents or another relative who did something they're truly proud of. He learned to have an open mind, to be himself more than anything and to accept everyone for who they were.

An easy way he'd get into touch with people was through music. He does play the piano, but his preferred instrument has to be the drums. He'd play with many different kinds of people, learn from them and move on. He'd learn songs in different genres, styles and languages and it was the best experience he'd ever had. Still, it was worth it.

Four years of travelling and Lex was finally ready to come home. But, home was an empty place and he found himself longing for something to do. When Gustavo Pop contacted him through his Instagram, he was intrigued and agreed to meet up with the band he spoke so highly of.
